General Purpose

The Maintenance Assistant role is a hands on position, to help maintain the grounds, facility and equipment in a safe and efficient manner in accordance with current federal, state and local standards. To ensure that a successful maintenance program is always maintained, ready for all inspections and will report to the Director of Operations.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Prefer experience in a healthcare / Hospital setting
• Experience with wide variety of maintenance issues and repair.
• Completion of elementary education or otherwise show ability to read, write and follow oral and written directions
• Must speak and understand English
• Positive attitude toward elderly
• Must possess or be able to obtain a fingerprint clearance card
