General Purpose

To provide assistance in all dietary functions as directed and instructed in accordance with established federal, state and local dietary regulations, facility policies and procedures.  Oversee production of the dietary team. To assist residents to and from dining room for meals and to make mealtime pleasant and timely.

Qualifications

• If under 18 years of age, must qualify for work permit
• Completion of elementary education or otherwise show ability to read, write and follow oral and written directions
• Must speak and understand English
• Positive attitude toward the elderly
